Had the update released last week and I am still unable to use my headset WF-1000XM3 with my Microsoft Pro 2 laptop. Yes the buds are found and installed as a Bluetooth device on the pc but no functionality what am I doing wrong. ?
Hi dg38dg,
I'll see if I can find anything out for you. Maybe someone else in the community can help in the meantime.
Thanks,
Pascale
Hi Dg38dg,
That's very strange. I read that the update should fix the issue completely.
Did you try resetting the headphones? https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wf1000xm3/v1/en/contents/TP0002289925.html
I also found the exact pairing steps with the computer but for a different model. Can you make sure that you do the same steps on the computer: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm3/v1/en/contents/TP0001703079.html?search=windows

Hi Dg38dg,
Do you have a different laptop/PC to test it with?

Hi
Yes I do its a Sony duo which is also running windows 10 1909 have connected it and the buds come up as a device not a audio device. I also tried to invoke the NFC on the laptop to connect to no avail and I am wondering if windows support NFC as there is no issue connecting with my Phone which is the new Xperia 5 and my Tablet Sony Z2 using the NFC. Maybe a get around NFC ?
I'm having the same issue with my Surface Pro Windows 10. Got the WF-1000XM3 a few days ago and tried to pair it today, but the device does not show up as an audio device when paired up.
Hi there,
I found these steps tackling the same issue as it appears to happen with other devices as well:
