I have a client complaining about this and cannot offer support.

The device does not have a scotia bank app installed.

Hi,

I have started getting the message constantly on my z5 compact. I've never had any of the apps mentioned in the thread.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hi,

I don't have app of this bank and have problem with NFC notification.

Ofcorse I have turn off NFC but still have this notification.

It show that one app is using NFC - I deleted it but still have this notification.

It's iritating very much.

I made restart to factory settings and still have the same problem.

Ok think I sussed it.
So in regards to the Scotia bank app it got me thinking.....
I had a Australian St George banking app which I seen that had an update today. So i uninstalled it and fix it. No more annoying pop up nfc.
I'm thinking the banks are using a commen soft ware for phone apps that's got bugs. So I reakon have a look at your recent updates in your apps by checking the dates. If your banking app has had a recent update, then I would suggest giving your banking app. BE GONE YOU USELESS THING.

It's a banking app it seams. I don't have Scotia bank but i uninstalled my Australian St George banking app and the annoying nfc message is gone. Best of luck
