LS,
I love lollipop and the Xperia Z5. But, I want to answer calls using a swipe, just as it was in Android 5-.
So, is it possible to disable incoming call notification and enable "swipe-to-answer"?
Kind regards, Edgar.
I am not sure what Android 5 you are talking about as lollipop is 5. Do you mean slide to answer when you are using the device? As there is slide to answer when you are not using the device.
Hi Alex,
thank you for your answer and yes, I know android 5 is lollipop and with android 5-, i mean android versions 2, 3 or 4...
Yes, I meant swipe to answer a call whether I'm using the phone or not..
Kind regards, Edgar.
Slide to answer is still there on lollipop.
Yes, and where? I can't find it.
Sorry, I wanted to say slide to answer. I don't remember a Sony device with swipe to answer. Just checked on an older Xperia P flashed with ICS and it is slide to answer.
You cannot have both of them, while the device is not in use, you can slide to answer and when it is used you will have to press on answer.
Unless you are using a custom ROM or a third party app, you will have to slide left to right to answer
Thank you for your answer. I'm using a bog-standard SONY ROM which came with the Z5.
And I never ever get the ability to answer a call by sliding left to right.
I only get a notification where I can press one of two buttons: answer or hangup/decline. And I want a more active way of answering a call...
@EdgarMatzinger That is only when using the phone. When it is locked, you should see the slide from left to right option.
OK, so you're saying it's not possible. Bummer. Thank you anyway.
