Calling via Google Chrome

If I try tapping on call from a webpage while using the latest version of Google Chrome for Android it brings up the stock calling page but then if I tap on the green button bottom center nothing happens, if I try the same using Firefox the call goes through normally, so is this a bug with Google Chrome or is there a fix for this?

that's something that you will have to send your feedback to the Chrome devs, you can also test it in >>> safe mode just to narrow down the issue

Seems it's intermittent with Chrome, I wonder if it's due to the fact that I haven't specified chrome as being my default browser?
