Sony Satnav - Activate Advance Warnings

Hi

I have an old Sony Nav-U Model NV-U83 which believe it or not, I've just found out has safety camera alerts on it. The trouble is I can't find where to get the code to activate it - I don't think Sony supports this model anymore however I wondered if anyone knew the code I need to activate it for the UK?

Apologies for posting here on Audio but there's no Satnav category.

Hi Billy,

I had a similar model, and I'm trying to think back to what I did, but I'm pretty sure you had to pay a subscription for this camera information.  Trouble is Sony stopped making portable satnavs about 4 years ago, so I don't think you'll have any joy with activating anything now sadly as the information would have been provided by a third party rather than Sony themselves, and if they don't support the product now.....:smileysad:
