Android support on XAV-601BT MirrorLink connection

Hi,

Does anyone know when android smartphone will be supported on the Car Head Unit.
Also do the android smartphones need a HDMI/MHL port or will the MirrorLink connection work via the micro USB slot.

You will need a MirrorLink phone, currenty only Samsung Galaxy S3 and the some Nokia phones. No other older phones will work. Just having MHL port is not enough AFAIK.

fyi The mirrolink software for SG III is to be released end of august or so they say.
