I am planning to upgrade my VAIO which came with XP Home to XP Professional (clean installation). I have downloaded the latest drivers for my VAIO VGN-A217M, however, there are some drivers I am not sure what they are.
If anyone has performed a clean install of XP Pro SP 2, could you please let me know how you managed to re-install all the drivers and software/utilities the machine came with without using the system recovery disk (which isdesigned for XP Home)?
Also, could someone please let me know what the following drivers are for?

SonyNC
SonyPI
SonyTV
