Hello everyone!
I am sure that I'm not the first to post questions like the following but I would greatly appreciate if you could help me or point out any answer already posted.
I have 2 questions:
1) What is the most efficient way to clean a vaio (FS215s) x-black screen? Is it possible to remove those tiny spots that appear due to talking coughing etc facing the screen?
2) a more serious one: I know that my SONY DVD RW DW-D56A is specified to be able to burn DVD+R at 8x speed. Why can I only burn at 4x speed. Is it the drive, the software or the DVD disks responible?
Thank you in advance for your time
George.
1) There's an active topic about this in the solutions room

1) What are acceptable cleaning agents for cleaning my LCD Screen?
* Water
* Vinegar (mixed with water)
* Isopropyl Alcohol
* Petroleum Benzene
What are some of the basic supplies needed to clean an LCD Screen?
* Always use a soft cotton cloth. Some materials, such as paper towels or old rags could cause scratches and damage the LCD screen.
* Computer wipes. Only use these if they specifically state on the package they are designed for LCD laptop screens.
What are proper cleaning techniques?
* Do not spray any liquids on the LCD screen directly. Always apply the solution to your cloth first, not directly to the parts you are cleaning.
* Stroke the cloth across the display in one direction, moving from the top of the display to the bottom.
What are Unacceptable Cleaners?
* Acetone
* Ethyl alcohol
* Ethyl acid
* Ammonia
* Methyl chloride
2) the DVD disks are responsible.
