I have a sony vaio rx 305 desktop pc. How many W does this PSU handle and can it be replaced if it gets busted?
Not easily as it's a Sony custom made PSU, and it's non-standard.
Could I just ring sony support asking for a PSU?
You could try, but I doubt they'll help (typical Sony snobbery)
So, let's say my PSU were to bust (touch wood) what is my only hope in getting a replacement or getting it fixed?
If you needed it fixed either a local Sony dealer, Sony themselves and some sony spare part sites.
