Hi all, i purchased today the vaio pocket... and i discovered that even after i updated the firmware and the software...there is no mp3 support!!!!
And when i say mp3 support ... i mean mp3 file support ... with file names...directories etc....
So...Sony misled us???? or am I a fool and doing something wrong??????
i wrote a post about this earlier, now the vaio desn't have to have the mp3s converted to atrac to play them, but needs a key or something to be added to the file and the extension canged to .oma. this is still quicker than full conversion, but slower and more resource hungry than true mp3 support
i read your previous post and i had already figured that out.....
the problem is that you practically cannot use the files you put in vaio for listening....except ofcourse your own pc!!
No way to keep filenames..directories...
I hope i wont have to regret my choice in vaio!!!!!
It is comforting the fact that you can use the vaio as a HD without restrictions....
I hate those numbered filenames with the oma extension!!!!!!!!!
By the way....does anyone know if there is a decent software to use on the pc....for playing...viewing and hopefully editing oma files????
thanks for the replies....
