I have recently bought a VGN Tx3x. Everytime I logout of the internet I get an error message entited IEXPLORE.EXE Application error. It says instruction at XXX referenced memory at xxx. The memory could not be read.

Does anyne know how i could get rid of this - it's very irritating!

Anne

Hi artangel and welcome to the forum.

An Add-on may be the cause of this error. Try disabling all add-ons and see whether this cures the problem. You can then re-enable one add-on at a time until you identify the culpret.

You will find a list of Add-ons by clicking Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons.

Hi Rich - I took a different approach in the end and downloaded Internet Explorer 7.
That seems to have fixed the problem.

Hi Anne,

I’m pleased to hear that you have found a solution

I must admit that I assumed that you were using IE 7.
