help please my vaio s dead

hi all new 2 this site. I wonder if someone can help me? I have a PCG K215z that i was given by my son . I do not have any recovery discs ect. The problem. working fine untill i downloaded windows xp service pact. since then windows was stuck in a loop start, logo on screen, then blue screen with unmountable-boot-volume and a large code.
windows will not load from recovery screen . Since this problem started my son played with the computer bios now i have nothing help please

What do you mean you have nothing.?

Does your Vaio receive power, when the press the power button what happens..?

Try resetting your BIOS to default settings.

To reset your BIOS restart your Vaio and Press F2 when you see the Vaio logo.

Wait for the BIOS to load

Then press F9 Setup Defaults

Ensure yes is highlighted and press enter to confirm

Then press F10 Save and Exit, ensure yes is highlighted and press enter to confirm.
