Options menu can't be viewed when watching blu ray

I purchased a KD55XE7002 TV but when watching a blu Ray I'm unable to adjust picture or sound settings as the options menu on the Sony remote only invokes the options menu on my Samsung blu ray player. I have to go back to the digital av source makes changes and then restart the blu ray....there must be an easy fix.

Are you able to use other functions on the TV remote to control your Blu-ray Player?

Hi @Clarkescott,

there should be an option on the Blu-Ray Player, which deacitvates the function to control it via your TV remote.

Then you can adjust the picture settings and re-enable the function if you desire to do so.

Hi Sean, I turned off the Anynet+ option on my Samsung blu ray and now the TV menu appears. I was hoping that I would have the option 'mastered in 4k' showing within the TV picture menu but it remains greyed out. I suppose that is a problem for another day.
