Sony Bravia KDL-37P3020 has a negative picture

Hello, I have a 9 year old Sony Bravia KDL-37P3020 which was working fine at my parents place but when I brought it up to where I live, it quickly went negative after I started adjusting the picture settings. The sound is OK. Changing the following made no difference: input source (dig box, DVD, AV1, AV2, etc), input lead (scart, hdmi) And the same set up works fine on my old TV (CRT). Any suggestions really appreciated. Thanks, PJ

Hi PJ2008, and welcome to the community,

Please could you clarify what you mean by'went negative'

You could try resetting the picture settings to default. Please have a look at pages 1-6 of the operating instructions here, in case it is of use.

Thanks,

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The picture looks like a negative of a regular image (light is dark, dark is light) a bit like an old photograph negative. The image on the page below looks very similar albeit too white, mine has colours so intense the picture looks like a cartoon/pixelated:

Trying reset was one of the first things I did - sorry, forgot to mention.

Thanks, PJ
