Can only see Picasa folders with no images

Hello everyone and hope someone can help.

Just got my KDL-40EX503 Bravia and most seems OK apart from,

• Log into to Picasa, that took me days as found out after much searching that you don't need to enter full email, silly me.
• Folders show with label
• Thumbs show with JPG info
• The ammount of images show

But there are no images, it is just greyed out folders and thumbs with text.

Any ideas, could this be the Bravia or a Google Picasa setting.

I tend to think logically so could be missing something simple.

And on my TV KDL-40EX708 are the same symptoms I tried different solutions without success (discconect and recconect, etc).

The support team from Sony have an answer?

Thanks so much for the reply Sebastian,

I have been trying all day to sort this, setting up new accounts in Picasa, saving pics in dif file formats, you name it I've done it.

I've written to Sony so just waiting for an answer from them now. After what you say I'll search the Sony site for any more info.

Sorry to say but it makes me feel so much better to know someone else has this issue, thought it was something I was not doing or doing.

I was just wondering if you'd heard anything more- I am experiencing exactly the same problem with  Picasa and our Sony Bravia KDL- 40EX503 .  Logging in was initially difficult but once I removed the numeric characters from my password i was able to proceed. Then the next hurdle - filenames visible but no photos. Tried all sorts without success - very frustrating. hope we find solution soon.:smileyplain:

Hi All, ok tested 3 models and all appears ok, I would advise you refresh internet content in case there has been an update and try again, please check your accounts on other products if you can.

i get exactly same problem just recently up dated to software version 092 for 32" 503 picasa was on bdp370 but has now disappeared again recently updated to version 742 either coincidence or software issue ? can logon to youtube/qriocity/lovefilm on both devices

I am experiencing exactly the same problem with Picasa.  I can see the thumbs with labels, # of images etc. but I can't view any of the pictures.  It was working fine a few weeks ago but not anymore.

Problem with Picasa is well known to Sony, not just in U.K and Sony will work on it. Problem is not just bounded with Bravia but with Picasa.
