How many Arc users are experiencing cracks like this?

Check your inbox as I have PM'd you a possible work around. You haven't as far as I know been locked out, that wouldn't be done without giving you a warning over some bad behaviour/infringement of the forum guidelines.

Hi ... I'm here seeking and waiting for a solution to this issue as well.
I got my Arc in June and the crack appeared only a month later ... I guess I don't need to mention how sad I am since you guys there all have the same problem.

Seriously, except this damn crack this smartphone is just perfect

Later, I'm gonna try uploading some pictures of the crack, which is above the light sensor in my case.

I hope at least SE has noticed that it was a common issue and that they stop pretending otherwise.

I agree, something needs to be done...there are too many users that are sharing the same experience. I don't have a crack yet, but it's in the back of your mind as to when it may happen.

I wonder if there is crack only on the blue ARC and if it´s the same with the metallic one? I have the blue ARC and my phone is just fine - no crack (so far). I take very good care of my cellphone and I have a transparent cover on all the time, after all the Arc is really long and thin - but it´s sad to read about the problem.

Well I had the original one replaced as I dropped my Arc onto a marble floor, even though it was in it's case it still suffered from cosmetic damage. A chip on the top right hand corner, which for me looked unsightly. I also happened to notice the now familiar hair-line crack above the sensor. Can't say for sure though if it was there before it fell to the floor or not as I did not take much notice.
