Xperia U screen is weird!

Just got a XPERIA U and loving it. But why does the screen display tiny dots (I can't really tell the exact color of those dots) when seeing white or any light color? Is my display a defective one ? Or is it designed to be like that ? It's a little irritating at times. I am hating opening white colored apps because of this 😕 WTH SONY!?!

Nope its like that only. Every Xperia Phone cant be defective can it? All of the xperia U has it

My live with walkman had it but it could only be seen when direct light falls on it. On xperia U I am able to see dots on light colors..they're not visible while playing games or watching movies though..Is it a new screen that sony is using in NXT series? I also want to know whether a matte finish screen protector will reduce the visibility of those dots. I find the a LITTLE irritating at times. Don't you ?

Yes these dots appear on white or very light colors. With time I have adjusted.No matte will not reduce anything as I am using one and its completely awesome at least than the stock one
