I have a problem in playing video on my xperia m4 aqua, not only in album but also on youtube (app) or dailymotion (in chrome). How can i resolve it?
If i make a video with my camera it looks black with audio,, and older videos i had on my sd are played slowly and with lag

Recorded two videos last week and three this morning all resulted in black screen and just audio.

Currently attempting the youtube file removal and pc companion route however I just feel badly let down. I only have the audio to show for two amazing days with my son.

I own a lot of Sony products and can't believe in 2016 this hasn't been resolved... video and pictures are vital for users, continue to lose your customers data (either through first or third party borken software) and you'll lose your customer base.

Feel guilted for my videos and annoyed that I have to jump through hoops in a vain hope that it might not happen again, what a let down.

iPhone next time like I had before, no probelms with Apple.

What is a current version of your phone? After last update this problem was resolved I think.

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum and I'm having an issue with my phone, wondering if anyone can help? Last year I bought a Sony M4 Aqua and it's been running quite well until yesterday. I don't often record videos but yesterday I tried to record three videos and when trying to replay them, the screen is black and there's audio only? I was watching the video as I recorded it so I know I didn't have my finger or any other obstruction over the camera.

I've found a similar thread in this forum in which some people suggested restarting the phone, I've restarted it and my videos record fine now however my main priority is trying to recover the videos taken yesterday. When I export the files to my laptop it comes out as MP4 videos but audio only. I'm a bit upset that I lost them and I'm hoping someone has a solution to get the images back!
