Hi, my sky Q is connected to the TV by HDMI. Works fine if TV is switched on first (and independently from the SKYQ box).
However if i switch on the SKYQ first, which inturn then activates the TV... the TV states no signal from the HDMI input source (Black screen). If I switch off the tv and switch it straight back on.... all then works fine. Very frustrating...seems to be a new issue as was ok before and also fine on my other (Samsung) TVs. Rang support but unfortunately wasn’t much help. Any help appreciated!! Thanks.

did you try another cable and check wether the connectors are plugged in correctly.

Hi ...Yes... also switched hdmi ports.
Have you tried clearing the cached data (Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data) and restarting the TV by holding the power button?
Hi yes. I have tried that... There was also plenty of available storage too (i.e two thirds empty) so I do not think this is related to a storage space issue.

Try disabling Bravia Sync on the TV and Control for HDMI on the SkyQ, unplug both from the wall for a while, then proceed to re-enabling both features again starting with the box.
The issue could be a HDMI handshake problem, this may be a possible fix.
