Black screen

My Sony tv model KDL40WE863 has got black screen( I have nowtv as tv provider) my young son playing with tv control suddenly lost picture. 
any suggestions how can I bring back pictures, please?

Does the TV turn on? Do you get anything on the screen when you press Home?
