100-400mm GM lens extends when walking - even when tightened

Hi does anyone else who has the 100-400mm GM lens have the same problem as me. Even when the lens is in the "tight" position the lens still travels all the way out when I'm walking with it on a strap. I would have thought a lens of this calibre and price wouldnt do that.

Does anyone else have comments on what happens with their lens

I have the same lens and do not have that problem..I suggest you speak with the people who you bought it from. I know this is maybe not the answer you are looking for.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I was at the NEC photography show yesterday and asked a Sony pro who said the same thing. I will be sending it back to them for review

I am out all day today doing a drone shoot for a client but I will be sending the lens back to sony tomorrow for some TLC
