Youtube playing up since 5.1.1

Hi guys,

after installing the upgrade I cant get a grip on my youtube app any more. Whenever I use it after 2 mins the screen blacks out, just as though it doesnt seem to recognize that a video is running.

Cleared cache, uninstalled youtube update but no chance.

Any ideas on that?

could you boot on safe mode and see if the screen locks too?

thanks for replying.

That was sth different and the solution was to map that NAS-share as described in the other link.

But here since 5.1.1 I start a youtube video and after 2 minutes of watching the tablet simply goes black and switches off, just like not using it for 2 minutes....which incidently also is the time I set in my energy options to turn off after when not in use. So, I guess it is the case that somehow Anroid doesn't notice when youtube is running, which normaly should prevent this turnin off.

Will try facory reset next.....no data on the tablet and thanks to Nova Launcher I can backup the desktops. Will post the result in due course.

Sorry, posted this thread under the wrong section, as it is a Z3 tablet we're dealing with. May an admin can move this?

Well, to close matters, a factory reset seems to have cured the problem.
