Xperia Z5 reboots continuously

While I was listening music, my phone shut suddenly down. The LED flashed red and it was all black. It took half an hour to turn it back on. But then it didn't go on, it got stuck in a reboot loop. Halfway through the restarting proces it just stops. The LED flashes again, the screen goes black and then it starts all over again.

I tried using a paperclip for the reset button, but that didn't work. It won't shut down..
I also tried holding the volume button down, but that didn't work either..

Then I tried connecting it to my laptop, but my laptop couldn't find it.

I removed my SIM and SD card, but that didn't help..

The loop went on until the battery was drained, but when I charged my phone: it all started over again!

I can't recall installing any update, or strange app. Last thing I installed was Musixmatch..

So, what to do now?

let the battery drain > charge it > do NOT try to turn it on > once the LED is green > run Xperia Companion on your computer > follow the steps > make sure that the phone remains OFF

I'm sorry to hear this. As @uliwooly suggested, try to charge your device until the LED light is green. Then try to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion.

If the same behavior persists or if you are unable to perform a software repair, I recommend that you get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center for repair.

I have the same problem, as you say I tried to charge my device but the device can't be turned off when the cable connected, it still repeats reboot continuously, does it wrong?
