Xperia z2 not charging

Please help ! Suddenly out of nowhere, my Xperia z2 isn't charging properly, and the charging indicator keeps going on/off every 5 minutes!  The charger and cable are the original that came with the phone.... Please help urgently 😭

First of all, try different combinations of other chargers and USB cables to try to identify the cause.
