Sony screen not touching after a small crack

Hi Ladies and Gents, Sony Xperia mobile team as well.

Can someone explain to me, why is that every Sony phone doesn't touch after it cracked, even if it's just 1 small crack on it. Unlike Samsung, and other brands when they're cracked you can still use the phone. This thing pisses me off as Sony LCD's are so expensive and I am a die hard fan. Is there any difference that is there or isit that other brands uses Gorrila glass screen which might be stronger than Sony's? I'd be glad if one can give an explanation for this.

Because of what has been mentioned on this topic above, I'm afraid I'll have to part ways with Sony phones, next stop is Huawei and Samsung. Bye Sony, you've been bad to me with your non touching response after just 1 tiny crack.

I totally understand your frustration, I've had THREE Z5's , 2 with broken screens, the other overheating issues, I would not have got another new sony as much as i like them (been buying since xperia Z)

LUCKILY the NEW ZX2 has GORILLA GLASS Front + Back!!

So far so good, they've kept me for now! i could not deal with the pain of any crack causing an entirely dead phone
