Question regarding update

So when I bought my phone it was already updated to Lollipop (5.1) and it was missing only the .264 update. When I updated the phone I had only 47% battery (some say I shoukd have over 80%) and didnt factory reset it.

Did i proceed wrong? Thanks!

Nothing, keep an eye on how the software behaves. And enjoy your device.

If the phone it's on and working there's nothing wrong

@doriandiaconu You need more battery left to perform the software update. For the update, you need to have about 50% if I remember correctly.

I think i notice some battery drain even though it was just a stagefright fix

Well that might change after some time, as it is a new update. Wait several days, restart regularly.

Restart regularly?

I thought that i should have over 80% battery just when i update from a prevuous version of android (4.4->5.0.2->5.1)

Should i take into consideration a factory reset? Or phone repair via pc?

You can if you encounter problems.
