Partial touch loss in Z3C after 'unauthorized' screen glue change

The screen came a bit loose and I thought it would be a terrific idea to order new glue and tools from China and watch a couple of Youtube videos and fix the issue. I mean, how hard can it be?

Well, not really, actually. But now there is a problem, there are two about 1cm long regions where the touch is not working:

What did I screw up? Is it a problem with the cable, the screen, the motherboard or something else? Can it be fixed?

Do you remember where you added adhesive to? Is it where those bands are?
