moisture in Z2 camera lens

Well i recieved my z2 yesterday and immediately and possibly stupidly wanted to test the waterproof aspect of it, i dunked it in a bowl of cold water for no more than 30 seconds however i more have moisture in my camera lens. I've let it try and dry out even left it in rice all last night with the flaps open and the moisture is still there, thing is the flaps were sealed properly so i have no idea why this has happened. Just hoping i haven't knacked the phone on the first day if having it, any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks

I give up with Sony. Day 8 into ownership, the secondary camera stops working. Send it in to Sony and get it back a week later, according to record the software needed to be updated. Camera still didn't work. Had to download another app to get it to work myself. Then the moisture in the camera, but Okey, resolved it myself. And now, few months into ownership, the phone does not receive a data signal anymore. Sent it in to Sony again, got it back a week later, the job card says they did a software update. Phone still does not work. Needless to say, it is now a fancy and expensive paperweight at home, as it is useless without data. At least I paid top dollar to have a gadget on which to play candy crush. As for an actual phone, well I have placed an order for a new Nokia. Going to write this off as a bad experience and just move on.

I have a similar problem, but I got water spots (stains) from inside of my camera lens and I spotted them like 2 days ago. I do not know how they appeared, because I tried waterproofing (splashing only) about a month ago.  Is it possible to remove them without loosing waterproof abilities?

Little Story , my phone about a month ago decided on it's own that the headset is plugged in all the time even if it's not and disapled the internal speak and microphone ... which can happen ok hard ware issue , went to local sony repair shop with my warranty and they did fix it and i qoute i asked the representive " Did that repair spoil or void the waterproof" his answer was " Definatly not we do not let the mobiles out of repairs unless we do the water test for it so you can enjoy it underwater" Today i went for a party with my friends and we had a swim in the swimming pool and we took some picture of a dept of hmm 30 CM below water level and i say it 30 CM , after exactly 15 mints the camera became so foggy and when i went home removed the cover found out it is the internal lens is foggy which i cant clear my self needs a repair shop . and i do not have time for repair shop that he said it is tested 100% .. seems not and i need my cell phone for bussiness now i  have to give it up for them yet for another 3 to 4 weeks  because thats the service level here . and they would repair some thing they said they tested and i would be with out phone . First i need from Sony to do some thing about that . this is not the way we should be treated and i'v offered the local franchaise of sony aka " Delta" if it will not be the same i can pay the diffrance and take any other phone and they refused as it seems they are so good as they do .. OBVIOUSLY NOT THEY ARE DUMB AND HERE I AM WITH BROKEN PHONE FOR A DEFRENT REASON THAT THEY SAID IT IS TESTED. Please replay asap i love sony and i just about to buy Z3 or Z2 but if thats the way it will go i rather then go for a diffrent maker.

do one thing put ur phone into an zip closed polythine with a packet of silica gel, keep open all the flep and remove sim and memory card, this will absorve all the moisture of ur ph actually this is a common problem in DSLR lens hope will work for you too.

This is condensation, not a leak. Dry it by opening the micro SD port and removing the chip if installed. Use a hair drier on low to blow warm air toward the lens from 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) away to avoid over heating the phone. Make sure it doesn't get so hot that you can't keep touching it. Plan to go slowly - 20 to 30. minutes to dry it completely.
