Nougat 7.0 and twitch

Hi,

Since the update to 7.0 I cannot use my twitch app.
Video is just black and no sound. Contacted twitch but no response. I have the Sony Xperia XZ and before the update I had no problems with the twitch app at all. Anybody know a solution?

You did the right thing by contacting twitch, as this is a third party app, it will be up to them to fix any compatibility issues.

As uliwooly said, 3rd party apps developers must set their apps for compatibility with android nougat, or issues and problems with compatibility will appear on most devices...so best to do is wait for their response and update .

A temporary fix is to disable automatic video quality and manual set the quality to for example high or medium
The automatic quality is broken on XZ Nougat.
