Z5 adaptive brightness :-(

Coming from a Z3, I am disappointed by the adaptive brigthness. Whereas it used to work nicely on the Z3 (set up to 30%), on the Z5, with the same setting, the brightness turns to the minimum when the phone is used indoor with artificial lighting, so bad...

Minimum is what level? I don't see any problem when I set it to 50% to 100% then automatic brightness.

The brightness is fine all the day long (30%, adaptive on). It's only coming home at night (or anywhere with average light like a restaurant), the brightness turns to be too low. Thus the screen is not flattering anymore at all...

Yes the auto brightness level if it is on full, seems to be very low and at times get very difficult to read/see clearly.
Z3 dual was much much better than Z5 premium dual.
They need to give more light in auto brightness mode when it's full. And if any one wants to reduce it, they can adjust it from the notification access. Rather than going to the settings and display and then removing it from adaptive brightness.
