Smart connect

I'm sick of trying to get smart connect to work. Does anyone know an app that does what smart connect claims to do, but works?

If your Smart Connect app is causing some problems, try to refresh it:

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> Smart Connect -> Force stop, Unistall updates, Clear data and restart your phone.
- Go to your Play Store and update Smart Connect again.

Ok tried that. I've gone from it connecting to Bluetooth and playing from a podcast app instead of the music player app that it was meant to. To now it connects, plays from the music player app that it is meant to, but though my phone speaker.
Any ideas? Have I missed something?

Any suggestions on that? It I'm out of ideas and haven't been able to find anything online anywhere.

Still unresolved.
Still playing out of phone speaker instead of devices.

And again, I can't find anything else on here. Has anyone got any other suggestions? Is there anyone I could contact?
So frustrating the phone is not far off being thrown from the window of the moving vehicle.
