whenever i reject a call a message gets sen t viz. im busy will call u back later., which is ending my balance.. now how to disable the "Reject Call With A Message" ???

I have already posted a message just above read it. You can solve that problem very easily. You need to only download and install a small app called as "Tiny Call Confirm" from Google Playstore. This will lock your incoming call for sure and will avoid any auto rejections.

This is really annoying, I cannot delete the auto messages, how do I disable this? I just send somebody a message I am eating, and I call you back later? HUH?????? Unbeliebavle, please fix this

Exactly this happened to me too, I received a call while the phone was in my pocket and the screen must have contacted my leg or something when I took it out and send a message I am eating and will call you back later! **bleep**? I discovered this a few days later, at the time I didn't even notice the incoming call.

Days later I get a call why I didn't call back? And why I did send him an English message (the caller was German). This feature some maybe like but must have the option to be disabled, anything else is not accaptable.

Same problem with my Z3 Compact. Already missed few important calls with this feature. Phone just rejected calls in my pocket automatically and sent sms. Sony MUST upgrade firmware and add an option to disable "Reject with a message" feature.

Even though call is rejected and message is sent. (Which should be configurable to Enable/Disable).

But I feel the main problem is that I don't even get informed that I had a call and it was rejected.

No notification or vibration alerts are given.

I realise it when I check my call log or SMS. (By then its already too late)

A request to Sony:

1. either provide settings to Enable/Disable this feature.

Or

2. Change accessibilty of Reject call message list so that it doesn't get triggerred while cellphone is in Pocket.

It never used to happen in my xperia Pro, but its consistently happening on my xperia Z2.

So, really need some work around for the same (either of above 2)

P.S.

I don't want to install a special app for restricting call.

Sony are you looking at something? What's the use of a phone which cannot properly support the main function answering calls forget it's other features.

I am constantly sending reject messages without realising it as I carry my Xperia Z2 Compact in my pocket when out walking. Seems I have 2 options - buy a case or buy a new phone. I don't like using a case.

Go to settings>call setting >rejected with massage>tap the msg edit msg eraser the words >ok (all massage clear & save)

You can edit any of those message but you can't delete or erase them. That's impossible. If you press backspace to empty the message then you can't save it. Which means that in the particular message there has to be compulsorily at least one single letter or else you can't save it.
