Besides, you can replicate the "problem" without my information. It's a missing feature which was also reported on Xperia Tipo.

Go to call settings and change all the messages to be blank. It will still show the option and reject calls, but it should stop the phone from sending messages. It worked for me.

I have a z ultra and am having the same problem. is there a way or app or anything to disable this feature?

it didn't work, when the message is blank, am not able to save it.

i am with maelstrom on this same problem. quite a clever device sony put in on the answer screen, but it is unfortunately poorly implemented and more of a design flaw.

I hate this function so much. Sometimes I accidently touch my phone when grabbing a phone call, this function reject my call with reject message.

This happen very quickly and sometimes is not noticeable.

Further more, due to this function. Phone, Xperia S hangs when answering call.

Please disabled or removed this function.

Let me know the app's name, so that I can disabled it immediately.

If you disable the messaging app under settings > apps > all > messaging > disable and instead downloading a 3rd party messaging app from Google Play, the 'reject call with a message' function should disappear. It should only be supported by the original messaging app.

When I tried it, it did not stop the message from sending and appearing as busy on the caller's phone. Sony, imagine sending your boss a busy message accidentally.
