anyway, i have the same problem. i had my phone for nearly 2 years and out of sudden it give this problem. I was in the office just listening to music and when i checked my phone, no network at all.
troubleshooting that i did :
1) change the network preffered to gsm > wcdma > LTE > gsm back again just to ensure that my phone connect to the correct network
2) take out my simcard and insert some other simcard, the phone still did not detect any network
3) out of courtesy to my dearest phone, i insert my simcard to another phone, my simcard worked
4) i did the factory reset and tried the same troublehsooting above, sadly, it is still the same.
5) i cried..
6) bulk up and search for any other people having the same problem. apparently it is the network antenna cable? which i am still not sure if it is the issue with.
7) send the phone to the service center which the diagnosis gonna cost me RM 53.
which leads to my question..
1) is it a bug? because before it happen i did upgrade to marshmellow about 2 weeks before the problem stated.
2) if it is a bug, will i still get my refund?
I think i am not the only person having this problem. I would really appreciate to get a professional reply on this matter.
