Messaging icon

My txt message icon says I have 1 new message but I can't see it. I have deleted all my messages and the icon still says I have one new message but there is nothing there!!!! Its annoying help.

Go to settings - apps - all, look for messaging application, force stop and clear data. Restart and check.

You could try disabling the app, and then enable it again, this will generally resolve any issues.
