Headphone jack volume

Headphone jack volume

At work we plug our phones into a stereo and play music, well everyone else does. My Z2 isn't loud enough compared to their Galaxies and iPhones, so we just give up on it.
I have played with all the settings, including the settings in the music player.

Are there music player apps that go louder?
Do any of the volume booster apps work?

I know more output can come out because I double tracked my ringtones with audacity and they come out ridiculously loud. Don't really want to be doing that to thousands of tracks.

I feel the same way. Came from a Samsung galaxy s5, great phone. The audio volume through the headphone jack on the z2 is very quite compared to most other devices. So unless this was the first device you used you are almost 100% going to notice the difference compared to your previous device which is very disappointing. Also the camera is horrendous given the claim of '20mp'. I wonder if these 2 issues have been fixed with the new z5..??anyone??

I came to Sony from galaxy s2, so camera seems good. And friends with iPhones feel ripped off when they see photos and videos I take, and at the same time. And some of the other features make friends with galaxies and iPhones jealous. Then I plug it in to the stereo at work and only have 3/4 of the volume of the other phones and we can't hear it, unplug it and plug in an iPhone.
How do we find out if they have fixed it? The problem is obviously software, they should be able to fix it on existing phones.

The contact us put me on to pro player and power amp, both work ok (only ok, still not galaxy or iPhone good) once you fiddle with the eq to control dtortion.

Now how to deal with the speaker 5 metres away from me going silent when I'm halfway through shearing a sheep because Sony thinks it was damaging my hearing
