My tablet keeps saying It's updateing but it never finishes?

Can anyone help me this problem? My tablet S always says It's updating the database but it never finishes . I have tried leaving it on all night but nothing happens . Tried to reset it, still the same thing happens . Has anyone else had this problem .

try going to Settings, then to Apps

find Media Players (the sony app) and do Clear Data (i think that is the app that does 'Update Database' on each restart)

after that, restart the tablet and see.
