Purchased the second version to go along with the original chromecast. All other devices (desktop/android phones) have no problems connecting to both....but the Xperia Z2 tablet is having some problems with only the new version. Was wondering any fellow owners of this device were having similar problems described below:
-Chromecast app sees all chromecast devices and even reboots under settings.
-However there is something wrong because the "currnt' background displays don't appear as they do on android phones I have
-Shows "connecting" then immediately disconnects (on the Tablet) with not a flicker of change on the TV screen (remains rotating through background pictures)
-This connect and immediate disconnect also occurs on the Chromecast audio.
Weird because tablet works fine on one of the TV that has the old chromecast.
Xperia play services updated running lollipop and updated chomecast app.
Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated!
