WH1000XM2 headphones cracked

Hi,
I bought these headphones just over two years ago and have been having sound issues recently.  I've noticed that the headband is starting to crack.  Its annoying as they were expensive and I didn't expect them to start to break after a few years.  Anyway, here is a picture:
I can't afford to buy any more of these so is this something that can be repaired.  Seems like a common fault with these headphones after a quick browse on the internet about it.
