WH-CH700N bluetooth headphones

please bear with me as i'm new to all this tec... hopefully a simple question.. the headphones pair no problem to my phone however i would like to use these with my TV or my ipod nano using a bluetooth transmitter... will this work? if not any suggestions (other than get a new TV and upgrade my ipod!) thanks guys.

I think, your TV's don't has A2DP Bluetooth Profile for Audio devices connecting, like the Headphones.

correct.. neither does my old ipod nano. if you buy a Bluetooth transmitter, it connects to the TV (or ipod) using a 3.5mm jack plug into the headset outlet. It then allegedly allows Bluetooth connectivity from your device to Bluetooth headsets. i would like to know if these headsets are compatible and will pair with such a transmitter
