Wh-1000xm3 noise cancelling not what I expected

Personally I think the NC on the Wh-1000xm3 I recently purchased is poor, I am currently on train can here the noise of the train, people chatting and the announcements. Not what I would expect that for nearly £300

Hello @Jimlibob,

you probably have "Adaptive Noise Cancellation" switched on.

Deactivate it and drag the slider to the far left.

Hello

Checked that and have pressed and held the NC button to optimise.

Hello @Jimlibob,

that is not what I meant - install the "headphones connect app" on your phone and check what settings are applied to your headphones.

If I recall correctly, the default settings have "Adaptive Noise Cancellation" enabled.

Hello @Jimlibob,

have you reset/initialized the headphones?

Do you wear glasses?
