WF-1000XM3 not recognised by Mac Book Pro

Happy with the new WF-1000 XM3 but it is not recognised by my 2014 MacBook Pro. Any ideas how to solve this? It is a bit of a disappointment if I can only use it on my phone.

This worked for me. Only the maximum volume seems to be suppressed.

I have the same issues, just got those for Christmas and can't seem to be able to connect them to my Macbook (Mojave). I have tried everything, using the pairing mode several times, reinitialising them ... Nothing works, they only pair with my phone.
