NWZ-B163 silent playback

Hi,

recently I've purchased Sony NWZ-B163 and after a while I've discovered that it cannot go very loud - when I was in the city I could hardly hear the music.

I have checked whether sound limits are off in menu and they were.

Is there any solution for this problem (like going into service menu or firmware update).

please help.

same problem here... this mp3 walkman's sound/volume compared to others is pretty low...

i dont blame my earphones - i use sennheisers and koss porta pro...

let me know if there is a maxim. volume limit for such countries like germany - and if yes, how i can update the firmware to change this issue... thanks
