Bought the NW-A45 MP3 player and just found out it will not play Audiobooks, not much use to me now as i wanted to listen to mp3s and audiobooks . all of my other mp3 players overnthe years have been able to do this.

In what format are the audio books you tried to play on the Walkman? You can find the supported file types by the A45 here:
