MDR-1000X low bluetooth volume

I recenly purchased a Astell & Kern SR15 player and been using my MDR-1000X via wired route , sound levels were good , i decided to try using them over bluetooth , the sound levels are so poor . i have to max out the volume to get a decent volume , any advise please

I've checked and couldn't find info related to volume level when connected via Bluetooth being lower than with the cable. Have you tried testing the volume level over Bluetooth connection with a different device?

Indeed I found the same issue with those headphones. The bt volume is lower than wire one. Tested with 2 devices (my phone Huawei P30 pro and the Huawei tablet) and also with the last model  1000MX3. On this model the volume is higher than the 1000X.
