Issue with Sony NW A45 compatibility with Beats headphones

Hi, recently bought an NW A45 and started using with my Beats Studio wired headphones. After a few uses I noticed a popping and audio stopping, particularly when some impact from walking etc. Assuming it is something to do with the Beats connection as other headphones work okay but wondered if it is a known compatibility issue?

I think the best thing to do is to test other headphones with the Walkman.
