I've just accidently deleted some programs from my sony NW-A1200 Walkman, and now it's not working properly. Does anyone know what to do?

Same problem happened to me in the past. What I did is I simply reset my Walkman and it automatically rebooted. There are some times where I didn't lose my files, but most of the time, I did.
