I have sonic record now, which burns dvd's no problem and plays back through my dvd drive on the laptop i burn it on but will not playback on my dvd recorder or dvd player!
Anybody know of a decent software that burns and plays back on all dvd players?
If you use Click to DVD (that comes with most Vaio laptops) it can convert a DivX movie to proper DVD-compatible MPEG2 format. Also works with other file types. Used it recently to make a few DVDs with clips from a party. It guarantees that the DVD can be watched in most peoples DVD players.

From what i can see CLICK DVD only works with an external device plugged in where i need to burn a dvd from a download off my hard disc, any ideas "wheresmybeaver" ps strange name mate, lol.:smileyhappy:
am usin click to dvd at the mo, but it takes forever.
anyway, i have found a loop hole. i have linked my laptop to my comp via wireless connection. so i am transferring the files from my laptop to my comp n then finishing the process there..... abit too long, but the only option i have i guess
Did you try my solution?
