VGN-AW11XU went dead with black screen and numlock

a couple of months ago I bought a new Vaio VGN-AW11XU/Q.
Yesterday its screen suddenly became black and it did not switch off by power button, only when I took off the battery and AC cable. When I switch it on the green light indicator of power is on, the indicator of numlock ('1') is on, screen is black, no reaction on keyboard. nothing.
What may happen? What should I do?

The computer is blown up! Sadly this sounds like a job for the repir shop. As your computer is a couple of months old contact Sony support on (I assume you are in the UK) on 0870 240 2409 I prefered to telephone. A Sony Vaio support web site is on: http://www.vaio-link.com You will need to enter the correct information. Note you will need the serial number of your computer and model number to hand when you contact support. Good luck

Try to do a hard reset. With battery out, try to look for a tiny hole and poke it with a paper clip.
