Under certain conditions the Blue Vaio sign at the front of the computer starts flashing and a beeping starts at the same time. This has only started recently and seems to coincide with the kids surfing the internet (usually an online game). There is no indication of a virus(i have a router with firewall as well as Norton).
Any ideas anyone.

Have you scanned with Spybot and Ad-Aware?

You need to clean your fans, this flashing and beeping is to tell you the airflow is not good enough for the VAIO to operate.

exact same happend to mine it needs a clean out as Kee_Lo says just give it a good clean sorted mine out no probs
